You can navigate to the Reading Corner by selecting a student’s name from the Student Column within the Reading Log Table. The Reading Corner allows you to see all your student’s pending reviews, as well as books they’ve already finished and reviewed. The star icon at the top of the pages indicates how many books the student has read.

Pending Reviews

If a student has Pending Reviews, they will appear at the top of the student’s Reading Corner. You can Approve or Ask to Revise Pending Reviews from the Reading Corner as needed.

The Ask to Revise button only activates once you have written a comment, allowing you to provide feedback to the student directly.

Books Read & Reviewed

Once a student has read and reviewed a book, it will display in their Reading Corner. You can utilize the Filters to sort by Type, Status, and duration.

See Pending Reviews for All Students

From the Reading Log, you can view a snapshot of Pending Reviews. To see the full list, select All Pending Reviews in the top right corner of the Pending Reviews section. This opens the Pending Reviews pop-up.

In the Pending Reviews pop-up, you can scroll between pending reviews. You can sort by Newest-Oldest or Oldest-Newest, or utilize the Approve All button to approve the reviews currently visible in the pop-up.

The Approve All button will approve only the reviews that are visible within the pop-up. The pop-up displays a limited number of reviews as a time. If you’d like to review all current student reviews, depending on the number of reviews pending, you may have to utilize the Approve All button multiple times.

You can write a comment and ask for revisions by selecting the Ask to Revise button. This button does not activate until you have written within the Teacher Comment box. You can also select the Approve button to approve a student’s review. Approving or asking for revisions removes the review from Pending Reviews.
