AI Grading Assistant Availability
AI Grading Assistant will have greater availability to customers in the 2025-2026 school year. Please see below for a list of programs that AI Grading Assistant is available for:

AI Grading Assistant at a Glance

| 1. Help article link |
Teachers can access a help article from the Grade View page to learn more about the AI Grading Assistant feature. |
| 2. Notification Icon | Teachers are notified on the Grade View page with an icon “A” indicating those questions were scored by the AI Grading Assistant. |
| 3. Score in Orange Color |
The score is orange to distinguish the AI Grading Assistant score from the manual score entered from the teacher. The manual score is blue. |
| 4. Autograde Accordion |
Teachers will see an Autograde accordion when a question is scored by AI Grading Assistant. If the teacher expands the Autograde accordion, they can view the Score Explanation. If the teacher decides to override the score, the Autograde accordion will also have an Override Justification tab. |
| 5. Accept Autograde Button |
The teacher is in control and can decide to accept or override the score from AI Grading Assistant at any time. |

The AI Grading Assistant provides an explanation of the score using details from the student’s response, passage(s) content, and criteria from the scoring rubric. |

| 1. Override Autograde Score |
Teachers are in control and can decide to accept or override the score. When the AI Grading Assistant score is manually changed (e.g., overridden) by the teacher, the score changes from orange to blue, and the Autograde accordion opens, showing the Override Justification tab. |
| 2. Restore Autograde Grade |
Teachers are in control and can decide to restore the AI Grading Assistant score. If teachers select "Restore Autograde," they must then choose "Accept Autograde" again. Note: All AI Grading Assistant questions must be accepted or overridden to view the raw score and have the test results sent to reports. |

| 1. Override Justification Tab |
Teachers are highly encouraged to enter a justification for overriding the AI Grading Assistant score; however, it can be skipped if the teacher does not want to write feedback. The teachers’ feedback will become part of the continuous monitoring of the feature for improvements. |

| 1. Failure Message |
If AI Grading Assistant fails, a message will inform the teacher, and a score will not be provided. The teacher can manually score the student’s response by selecting a score based on the rubric score range. |
