Roles and Permissions

Use the following table as a quick guide to the various roles and permissions available to users of Benchmark Universe.

  Content Reports Assignments
District Admins Can view all content and preview content as a student Access school, grade, class, and student-level reports for entire district Can manage assignments
School Admins Can view all content and preview content as a student Access school, grade, class, and student-level reports for school(s) associated to Can manage assignments
Teachers and co- teachers Can view all content, assign content and preview content as a student Access class, and student-level reports for class(es) associated to Can manage assignments, and create and manage student groups
Students

Can view:

  • Some content without being assigned (e.g., Small Group Texts and Resources)
  • Some content on assignment: (e.g., eAssessments, interactive learning games, Whole Group Texts)
 Access to individual test review if shared by teacher Can complete and manage assignments
